Introducing Plasma Group

TLDR: We’ve created a simple way to deploy your own plasma chains.

Hello world! We are excited to announce a full service plasma toolbox for deploying, transacting on, building with, and developing on plasma chains. This implementation set foot in the aftermath of devconIV. Though it’s an unaudited beta release, we hope it will lay the groundwork for a community-driven initiative to make plasma a tool for decentralization for everyone. You can deploy your own plasma chain from the command line or connect to a plasma chain that we’ve deployed and send transactions via a command line wallet. This implementation is written in Javascript and Vyper, and includes a library of plasma utilities for those who want to build on top of it.

About us

Plasma Group is dedicated to the creation of an open plasma implementation for the greater Ethereum community. It’s our mission to push layer 2 scaling forward by exploring the full potential of the plasma framework. Together, we’ll build towards realizing the vision of a more decentralized future.

Plasma Group’s Plasma Spec

TLDR: We created a spec for a Plasma Cash variant and implemented it in Node.js and Vyper. This document covers the design specification, providing references to the implementation along the way. Our code supports deploying a new chain to testnet, an on-chain registry of other plasma chains and their block explorers, and transacting via a command-line wallet. Introduction The vision of a network of blockchains as a scalability solution has been spreading rapidly. A multi-chain approach for paral

Towards A General Purpose Plasma

TL;DR We created a general purpose plasma design that allows you to build a broad class of smart contracts on plasma. Reach out to learn how: https://t.me/plasmacontributors Imagine a world where every time you wanted to build a dapp, you had to build Ethereum from scratch… including the entire client, all of the networking, all of the data structures, and everything else . Until now, that’s what plasma app development was like. Each deployed plasma chain was application-specific due to constrai
